Bear Naked® Triple Berry Granola Apple Crisp

Warm Spiced Apple and Berry Crisp, topped with a Crunchy Brown Sugar and Triple Berry Granola Cobbler crust and powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • FILLING INGREDIENTS
  • As needed Pan spray
  • 2 cups Fresh or Frozen Berries (optional)
  • 6 cups Apple Pie Filling
  • 1/2 cup Apple Juice or Water (optional)
  • 4 cups Bear Naked® Triple Berry Granola Crumble Topping Mix
  • As needed Powdered sugar
  • As needed Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
  • CRUMBLE TOPPING INGREDIENTS
  • 5 sticks Butter, softened
  • 1x48oz. wt. bulk bag Bear Naked® Triple Berry Granola
  • 5 cups Pastry or All Purpose Flour
  • 4 cups Brown Sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt, fine ground

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325º F to 350º F.
2. Pan spray bottom and sides of dish or pan.
3. Place filling in dishes or pan, and, if using, add berries. If a juicier filling is desired when using commercial prepared filling, add called for apple juice or water. Stir juice/water well to mix with commercial prepared pie filling prior to placing in dish. Place individual dishes onto a sheet pan.
4. Place prepared Granola Crumble mix over filling in an even layer.
5. Bake in pre-heated 325º F to 350º F convection oven, on low fan, for the following times until filling has reached approx. 165º F and crumble is light golden and crispy. Adjust times as needed according to your oven:
- Individual dishes - 350º F = approx. 20 min, 325º F = 25 min.
- Half Hotel pan - 350º F = 30-35 min.
6. Optional Serving Suggestions: Serve warm with scoop of vanilla ice cream.

GRANOLA CRUMBLE TOPPING:
1. Cut butter into 1/2” chunks. Allow butter to soften to room temperature. Set aside.
2. Set up mixer with paddle attachment. Place granola, flour, sugar, and sea salt into mixing bowl. Mix a few seconds until just blended on slow speed.
3. Add cut up softened butter to mixture and blend on low speed until granola, flour, sugar, and butter are mixed and no lumps of butter remain, about 2 minutes.
4. Store in an airtight container, labeled, dated, and refrigerated. May also be frozen. Thaw before use.
