Dutch Apple Granola Fritters

Products Used: Kellogg's® Low Fat Granola Original (without Raisins) Multi-Grain cereal

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts (2 pounds 4 ounces) flour
  • 1 pint (10 ounces) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup (2 ounces) baking powder
  • 2 quarts (1 pound 12 ounces) Kellogg's® Low Fat Granola Without Raisins
  • 1 3/4 quarts (56 fl. ounces) fat-free milk
  • 4 each eggs, large
  • 1 1/3 cups (10 3/4 fl. ounces) vegetable oil
  • vegetable cooking spray

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
3. Combine Kellogg's® Low-Fat Granola cereal and milk in mixer bowl. Let stand about 3 minutes or until cereal softens.
4. Add eggs and oil. Mix on low speed, with flat beater attachment until all ingredients are well combined.
5. Add dry ingredients mixing on low speed only until combined.
6. Using a No. 16 scoop, portion batter into 2 1/2 inch muffin pan cups coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400º F about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
