Special K® French Toast

  • 1/2 cup egg whites,
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup Kellogg's® Special K® cereal
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 3 ounces light maple syrup
  • 1 cup mixed berries such as sliced strawberries,
  • 1/4 cup Kellogg's® Special K® cereal


1. In a shallow dish, combine egg whites, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Place crushed Special K® in another shallow dish.
2. Dip bread into egg mixture, turning to coat. Press bread into cereal, turning to coat and create a crunchy crust.
3. Heat a griddle or large non-stick skillet over medium; spray with non-stick cooking spray. Cook toast until golden and hot throughout, about 3 minutes per side.
4. Cut toast in half diagonally across the center. Arrange pieces on two plates. Top with syrup, berries, and additional Special K® cereal.

Tips and Tricks:
For a restaurant worthy presentation, stagger the toast when you stack.
Use the freshest seasonal berries for best results.
